The Bucs waisted no time in establishing what they wanted to do vs the Vikings and Bucs Rookie RB Doug Martin (pictured right) followed suit with a Huge Rushing Game and exposed the Vikings who came in 5-2.

Behind the Left Side of the Bucs O-Line in OT Donald Penn and OG Carl Nicks Bucs Rookie RB Martin showed his Whole Repertoire in going for 135 Yards on 29 Attempts and a Score. Martin also leads the Bucs in receiving with 3 Garbs for 79 Yards and a Score. Being compared to the Ravens Charm City Express #27 might be right on Par as the Vikes could do nothing to stop Martin.

Not to be outdone even though it appeared to be a quiet Night from the Avenger...Super Purple People 28 and PERCYland USA they were quite productive. AP 28 had 123 Yards on 15 Attempts and a Score with a 64 Yard Burst that was Vintage Peterson. Percyland had 7 Grabs for 90 Yards and a Score as he could not get his Hands on 1 Kickoff return as the Bucs kept kicking it to the Back of the End Zone.

Bucs QB Josh Freeman went to work throwing for 262 Yards on 19 for 36 and 3 in the Purple End Zone. Ponder did get Numbers but showed again he is not nor are the Vikes comfortable from playing behind. Ponder threw for 251 Yards on 19 for 35 and 1 in the Bucs End Zone and a Pick.

Time of Possession played a Huge Common Denominator in this one as the Bucs had 37 minutes and Change to the Vikes 2 Minutes and Change. At the End of the Game the Vikes D had played too many Snaps. Now the Bucs move to 3-4 and the Vikes move to 5-3 with the Packers lurking at 4-3 and the Bears up 2 in the Loss Column.

Vikes and 2nd Year Signal-Caller Christian Ponder have to show they can play from behind and that D that has played well has some leaks for all to see on Thursday Night.
