The 2012 NL MVP Race has come down to who can finish the strongest and the Man that has been a Topic of that Conversation plays in PNC Park in the 'Burgh and he is the Leader in the Mid-August Report for NL MVP 2012. The Only other Player who has consistently been as good as Drew is now Gigantes Suspended OF Melky Cabrera aka the Melk Man.

The Top 5 NL Candidates for 2012 NL MVP:

1. an-DREW McCutchen OF BUCCOS .359 Avg (#1 NL) 24 Bombs (Tied #4 NL) 72 Ribbies  1.029 OPS (#2 NL) 153 Hits (#1 NL): He has led the Pirates to a 2nd Place Spot in the NL East and #2 in the NL Wild Card Spot. He has been the most consistent now that the Melk Man is outta the Picture.

2. BUSTER Posey C GIGANTES .330 Avg (#4 NL) 19 Bombs  76 Ribbies  .950 OPS (#4 NL)   125 Hits : Starting where he left off after leading the Giants to the Title 2 Years Back. The One consistent Giant in that Line Up and after Panda Smash Sandoval and Hunter Pence...it is all on Posey to carry the Offensive Load as they are a 1/2 Game Back in the NL West.

3. Matt HOLLIDAY OF REDBIRDS .309 Avg (#8 NL)  23 Bombs (#6 NL)  81 Ribbies (#2 NL)  .923 OPS (#7 NL)  136 Hits (Tied #5 NL): He along with Carlos Beltran, who has really cooled off after All-Star Break, has carried the REDBIRDS. He is Top 10 in most Key Offensive Categories and you can put him on the List as the Cards are not going down without Holliday or them fighting.

4. Ryan BRAUN OF BREW CREW .302 Avg (#10 NL) 31 Bombs (#1 NL)  79 Ribbies (#3 NL)  .962 OPS (#3 NL) 127 Hits (#11 NL): You have anymore Jokes about the Fed Ex Man tainting Braun's Sample to the League Office. Look I don't know who did what or if the Office being Closed to Ship was in Braun's Favor. 2012 is No Fluke as he is at it again for the Brew Crew but No Post Season.

5. Johnny CUETO RHP REDS 15-6 (Tied #1 NL) 2.45 ERA (#2 NL)  127 Whiffs (Tied #20 NL) 37 Free Passes 161.2 Inning Pitched (#7 NL): The Ace of the Staff and the Team has the #2 Best Record in the Show. Cueto has been their #1 Gun from the Start and he will be #1 to get the Hardball in Winning Time. Dickey and S2 n G2 of the Potomac 2-Pack are right there as well.
