It was the 2nd Game of Pre Season and the Steelers still looking to get into the New Playbook on Offense and trying to get New Parts ready on Defense. Final...Home Team 26 Colts 24.

Yes Colts QB Andrew Luck looks to be a Real Good One but I will let the Colts Nation and NFL Analysts talk about that. As for the Steelers Big Ben looked Solid minus his 1 Pick. He did connect to #1 WR Tone 2.0...Antonio Brown for a simple Out of about 20 yards and Brown does the other 57 yards by his lonesome for Pay Dirt and a Flip in the End zone.

Steelers seem to be looking for a 5th WR or 4th until #17 gets into Camp. Rook WR Mike Gilreath of  Wisconsin Madison goes off for 4 Grabs and 78 Yards including a Go Route of 41 Yards from Blu Phi Member and 'Burg Native QB Charlie Batch.  Gilreath played #1 a lot last night and was #2 last season in Madison catching the Pigskin from Seahawks Rook QB Russell Wilson and behind #1 Badgers WR Nick Toon and Current Saints 2012 Pick (the Son of Former Badger All-American and Jets Great AL Toon).

On the Ground the talk of Camp has been Former Gator and Pouncey Twins Teammate at Lakeland Florida HS Chris Rainey but it was all Ramblin' Wrecks RB Jonathan Dwyer doing the Damage on the Ground. J.D. ended with 43 Yards on 8 Totes and the mini-Bus got into the Fry as well in RB Jason Ford of the Fighting Illini for 8 Totes and 42 and some Laundry left on deck. The Aforementioned Rainey had 6 carries for 20 yards.

If it was Luck's Only Bad throw of the Night it was a Come backer he threw over the Opposite Hash and Steelers Corner "I Like Ike" #24 picked it off for a Pick 6. The Steelers D played alright but it is getting New Guys acclimated to the Different Nuances of the 3-4 Zone Blitz and looking at what guys to keep on that Depth Chart.

Also Rookie QB Jarrod Johnson also played well and as he went 4/5 and 65 Yards and the Game-Winning Drive late in the 4th. It will be interesting tom see what the Steelers do for the 3rd QB Slot with QB Bryron Leftwich getting a DNP last night.

Next Up for the Black & Yellow...August 25th in Orchard Park, NY vs the Bills at 7PM ET....
