Deng knew he had to come up big (24 and 8 on 10-19 from the field and 4-5 from the ARC) and Super-Sub Taj Gibson went in for Only 8 and 7 but it was his impact on Defense for Team See Red.
The Bulls ride those two players to an impressive but short lived victory 77-69 as they head back to Philly for Game 6. It wasn't Evan or Jrue but their defense on Sixers Center Spencer Hawes aka Boss Hawes like I said in WEST SIDE STORY Report #28 that would get the Bulls the Victory.
Team See Red played inspired from the Jump and it was a tie up/tussle between Sixers Brand X and the Bulls Gibson that might have gotten the Bulls going strong to the Finish line. Boozer has also played very well as he had 19,13, and 6 helpers and kept the Bulls floating in the 3rd frame.
Lou Williams and Jrue Holiday kept the Sixers in it by combining for 29 points but too much Bulls Defense at the right time in the contest for them two to overcome. Now the Bulls have to travel back to Philly for the all important Game 6 as the Sixers get rewarded for their 2 W's at home last weekend. They must Stop Hawes as he is their X Factor and the Bulls might be on to something. No Taj the Bulls need JO Knows or if neither go..the Bulls go...go Home for the Summer.
It is Do or Die for the Bulls and they will have to pull out all the Stops in Game 6 because if it goes 7 the Sixers will not win on the West Side again.
