For all you followers of BLUEDUDE SPORTSTALK I greatly appreciate the attention as I have not found  home yet but hopefully soon. As you see I can go with anyone right off the Top of my Thinking Cap.....aka Intellectual Property. From Blogging in the Sports World to designing the best Fitted and Snapback Licensed Sports Lids in the Biz the BLUEDUDE gets down. And No I am not on my Soapbox or blowing my own Horn its just the fact of the matter. I Blog like I talk at the Barbershop, my make shift Team 12 Chips Man Cave (Steelers n Bulls), or to my Family...the passion that runs is deep with this.....extremely deep. Who out there watches Logo and College Basketball games with a Clip board..let me see a show of hands.

There comes a Time when you put out an article and one of the Big Boys puts one out a month or so behind you. For instance you can do what ever the HE** you want to and I understand that. The BLUEDUDE'S Article on Neal F. SIMEON HS Hooper Jabari Parker on April 20, 2012 at Bluedude Sportstalk is a reminder that the BLUEDUDE covers Sports like my Head&Shoulders Safety at the Big Ketchup Bottle covers on Sunday.

Now a Sports Illustrated has come out with a magnificent Article on Mr. Parker but the BLUEDUDE has to go about a Chi City Block further. I read all Magazines from SI to SLAM to the old Street & Smith to Dime to the Sporting News to Baseball Prospectus to Home and Garden and to the Robb Report....you know nothing about the Robb Report but me and Sheed Wallace do as its reportedly one of his favorite magazine.

Since we are talking Jabari Parker what about the notion that Sports Illustrated has said he is the Best HS Baller since King James. Ok it's their opinion and we can run with that. What about the notion of is he the best player ever out of Rich Tradition Neal F. Simeon HS on the GO's South Side in the 80s at 8147 South Vincennes Avenue..Chicago, Illinois 60620-1763.

Let's get a Breakdown of the Top # All-Time Basketball Players at SIMEON HS in Chicago:

Ben Wilson aka BENJI: Tragically gunned down a block from School his Senior Year at Simeon HS which has been well documented of course. At 6'9" and a game similar to Magic Johnson on the Perimeter and on the Block like the Big Ticket Kevin Garnett....his game was before his time as he was hands down the best Player in Class 1984 (Check out the Bluedude Sportstalk September 22, 2011 article on Ben Wilson and Len Bias and they would have been in the mix with none other than Michael Jordan).

Ben could shoot it from Mid-Range, handle from end to end, see the floor like Magic, rebound and block shots like KG, and as Charismatic as they come. Five Star Guru Howard Garfunkel went as far as saying in my ALl-Time Top 5 to come to Five-Star. Many said it was between DePaul with legendary Coach Ray Meyer and Illinois and Coach Lou Henson with the only man who could have gotten Ben to Illinois Assistant Jimmy Collins.  I still think he and Jabari are close but the edge still might go to Benji.

Derrick Rose aka the ADIzero Hero: 2007 Consensus Top 5 Player in the land and right behind Kevin Love and Mike Beasley at #3. Some say the best guard out of Chi City since Isiah "ZEKE" Thomas of West Chester, Illinois' St. JOSPEH'S HS. When i saw Derrick in High School his last year he destroyed a Oak Hill Academy VA Back court of Brandon Jennings (current Bucks PG) and Nolan Smith (Former Duke All-American and current Rip City Blazer PG).  He also destroyed former National College Basketball Player of the Year and Ohio State All-American Evan Turner in HS when Turner was at Zeke's Alma Mater St. Joesph. Turner was a Top 35 in Class of 2007 and PG and Teammate Demetri McCamey (Illinois Starting PG from 2007-2011) teamed up with Turner and they had no shot against the ADIzero Hero.

Extremely explosive and the fastest guard I have ever seen end to end on a High School Basketball Floor. D-Rose looked like he was jumping off of a Trampoline at times. Relentless to the Rim and could rebound in HS like a F/C. Rose was 2010-11 Logo MVP and maybe Jabari is slightly better than Rose at Simeon but its probably who you talk to in the GO'.

Jabari Parker aka JP @jabariparker22: The Gatorade National Player of the Year and only a junior as he edged out the likes Bazz Muhhamed (Las Vegas, NV Bishop Gorman HS signed with UCLA),  Kyle Anderson (Jersey City, NJ St, Anthony's HS signed with UCLA), and Nerlens Noel (Tilton School of NH signed with Kentucky) to name a few.

A member of the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and as easy going and uneasy as you will see any Big Time High School Student-Athlete of his caliber. The Son of Chicago Hops legend Sonny Parker...JP is the truth at 6'9" and 225 el bees. Not as explosive as King James and more like Reston VA South Lakes HS Alum and the best player ever at Duke University Grant Hill (now with the Phoenix Suns).

Smooth with Dan Ryan Expressway Handles, and Street game like 87th and Vincennes, can play 1-5, and he could be Magic one trip, Shoot it like Glen Rice the next, Small Forward it like the aforementioned Hill, and block and rebound like Anthony Davis. In other words what ever your team needs he can wear that hat. Forget Handy Andy....Jabari is like the Google Platform...everything under one hood.

He will battle it out this summer with Plano, Texas Prestonwood Academy PF Julius Randle as I am sure Randle has just settled for that #2 ranking in the Class of 2013.

Here is the Question of the day...Who is the Best player at Neal F. Simeon HS....they all won State Championships and Parker has Won all 3 years and will be going for a 4th in 2012-13?

As for being the Next LeBron James he shouldn't he be trying also to be like the Player before him as far as accolades...the ADIzero Hero D-Rose of the Hometown Bulls. I know SI is referring to as Jabari's impact at the HS Level and rightfully so. Mentioned in the same light as Derrick should also give him Top Status you would think.
