I don't know what's in the air but even in the logo the Knee Injuries are outta control and the Bronx Bombers found out first hand what its like to lose a Key Cog in the machine.

Normally on any day in Batting Practice especially on the Road Pitchers will catch Routine Flies in BP (Batting Practice) as they shag them from left to right and up and back. Bombers Save-Man Extraordinaire Mariano Rivera...aka the SANDMAN (from Metallica's Enter Sandman Song) was running to catch a Fly Ball and went down and you know what it was....a Knee. And he did it chasing down Fly Balls in of all places....Royal Stadium.

Yankees Players, Coaches, Trainers, ran over to his aid and the Bombers Closer is DUNZO for 2012 and at his age maybe done forever. Out of all the things that could have happened to the Sandman like losing Velocity, Cutter and Seamers won't do what it do anymore, or he just doesn't have that Fire to play anymore and walks away...now this.

Bombers now have to have someone close for the 1st time in some 16 years as the Sandman will no longer be running from that Bullpen with either Boos or Metallica's Enter Sandman playing and the Bronx ZOO losing it famous Facade.  The Sandman jut done for 2012....done....really...not Mariano Rivera...and the Bombers are scuffling for a Closer.

Now with the Closing Situation in the Air what does the Bombers do to fix it? I know this they will not replace not only what the Bombers will miss but MLB....an Icon for the ages. #2 in Pinstripes called him, " the most mentally-tough teammate with whom he has ever played with", and #2 said that...Mr. Yankee himself....Derek Jeter.

Hands down the Best Closer the BLUEDUDE has ever seen and it isn't even close.
