The BLUEDUDE will find you just like a Lead Scout in the LOGO because I get down like that. the Spurs are one of my Favorite Teams to watch because they find guys like my Steelers who fit what they do and they are allowed to grow under that Top Shelf Umbrella at the AT&T Center.

I have known this guy since his Top 100 Days in North Babylon, New York's North HS and ST. Mary's HS Manhasset, Ny. When Green was in High School and College his Father was incarcerated so the Tough Love rubbed off on Green as his demeanor on the hardwood is all Biz. He chose to go to Franklin Street and and join the 'HEELS of Tar Heel Blue.

A Jack of All Trades Small Forward...hence he is a Custodian and his all around game at UNC improved every season as he was an All-ACC Defender. Was also on the 'Heels 2009 National Championship Team with the likes of Ty Lawson (Nuggets) and Pyscho T Hansborough (Pacers).

A 2nd Round selection in the 2009 LOGO Draft as he played one season with the Cavs and the D-Leagues's Erie Bayhawks. The Spurs gave him a shot in 2010 and 2011 as he also played in the D-League with the Austin TX Toros and Reno Big Horns. Spurs Brass Pops and RC thought Green needed a little bit more seasoning and he went to Slovenia as well.

This is what I like about the Spurs they will let you know they like you and it is up to you to develop your game and you will get a shot at the roster as well as the rotation. Now Green is a permanent fixture on the Spurs Roster and they now have a Solid Defender as Green has always been and an added Offensive Arsenal as he can finish in Transition as well as stroke it from deep.

Green's Numbers with the Spurs in 2011-12 Season:

Note: Green played in all 66 games for the Spurs in 2011-12 and started 38 of them.

9.1ppg 4 rebs. 1.4 steals 44% FG 44% 3pt FG% 79% FT 23 Minutes per game

He can really shoot it from Deep and the Spurs like to stretch the floor out with shooters for Point God TP8 can do his thing off the bounce. He led the Spurs in Steals which shows you his Defensive Prowess. Aside from his Pro Career some of Green's Records at Tradition Heavy UNC are astonishing:

GREEN is the Only TAR Heel to have 1K points, 500 rebs., 200 assists, 100 blocks, and 100 steals....the Only Tar Heel

1 of 4 ACC players with 100 blocks and 100 3-pointers

The Only Tar Heel to Block 100 shots and make over 50 Money Balls

Al this at UNC Chapel Hill where the likes of Al Wood, Big Game James, Air Jordan, Kenny the Jet Smith, Vince Carter, J.R. Reid, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Brad Daugherty, Jimmy Black, Ray Felton, Psycho T Hansborough, and Ty Lawson among others honed their Collegiate Skills.

Now you know where Mr. Danny Green came from and as you see he was never no #4 and a Small Fries. As for anymore D-League Appearances or going over the Big Pond...Green is here to stay for POPS, R.C., and the Spurs Nation.
