At 28-13, New Owners, a New Attitude, a players like Kershaw, Kemp, Ethier, Billingsley, and Maloney.....what is not to smile about in Chavez ravine these days.

The Boys in Blue take all 3 Games from the 2011 Defending World Champion St. Louis Redbirds and they have not skipped a beat as they are looking as though not only the Senior Circuit but the Junior Circuit has to come through Dodger Town USA.

Unlike most Teams in the Show who lose Key people due to injury the Dodgers have their share of them and they have not skipped a beat. Now the Dodgers open up their lead in the NL West to a Full 7 games ahead of the 2010 Fall Classic Champion Gigantes.

NATS Right-Handed Ace Stephen Strasburg goes Yard for his first BOMB and he also improves to 4-1, 2.21 ERA, and a Nats' leading 68 K's. The only negative in his outing today is he reportedly had some arm stiffness. Nats' Starters have combined for a 15-10 Record with Strasburg and Left-Hander Gio Gonzalez' 5-1, 2.22 ERA, and a Strikeout to Walk Ratio of 3 to1. Nats' 24-17 and only a 1.5 behind the Braves.

The Pale Hose of the South Side of Chi City have caught a Brush Fire as they sweep their Cross Town Rival Cubs in Wrigley and have now own 4 straight games.

Right-hand Ace Jake Peavy is leading the rotation at 5-1 with a low 2.39 ERA. Paulie Konerko, Adam Dunn, and AJ Pierzynski have provided enough Pop to the Sox lineup that their Offense has been good enough.

With the Chi-Sox current 4-game Win Streak they are only playing .500 ball but since they play in perhaps the weakest Division in the Show they are 2.5 games out of first.
