The AFC SOUTH has been under the Watchful EYES of the Indianapolis COLTS for sometime now. The Best QB in the Division has been COLTS QB Peyton MANNING. The BEST Offensive Player has been arguably the TEXANS WR Andre JOHNSON. The best DEFENDER in the Division has been arguably COLTS DE Dwight FREENEY......and before that it was COLTS Safety Bob SANDERS when he was healthy.

Having said all that Old FATHER Time catches up to all of us and the COLTS HOLD on the AFC South might be coming to an abrupt end. The TEXANS are the only team in the Division who can knock off the COLTS as the TITANS and the JAGS just don't have enough firepower.

Let's take a look at the BLUEDUDE'S 2011 NFL AFC South Predictions:

1. COLTS 10-6 #3 Overall Seed in the AFC tied with the RAVENS and JETS at 10-6: The BIG Concern for the COLTS right now is the health of QB Peyton MANNING. I don't know how much they keep downplaying the severity of the situation but Practice REPS are very important to #18 and him not being in there is a big deal.

Offensively they re-upped with RB Joseph ADDAI surprisingly but 1st round pick RB Donald BROWN can't win the position so ADDAI will most likely remain at the #1 spot at RB. Can we get a HEALTHY TE Dallas CLARK and if we do the COLTS will be that much better on Offense. WR Reggie WAYNE leads the Wide outs along with Pierre GARCON, Anthony GONZALEZ, and Austin COLLIE.

The DEFENSE lead by DE DUO of Dwight FREENEY and Robert MATHIS along with SS Antoine BETHEA of HOWARD U in Chocolate City. They did cut Corner Kelvin HAYDEN and lost ILB Clint SESSIONS in the Off SEASON. There are some holes to fill on D......and can they fill them...is the million dollar question.

OUTLOOK: The COLTS know there window of Super Bowl OPS with #18 is closing if not already closed. They have issues with #18 Health, a new look defense on the back end as they have done some shuffling back there. But they still have a hold on the Division until someone takes it. They have the AFC North on the schedule with BALTIMORE and PITTSBURGH.......they also have to play the NFC South......the BUCS, FALCONS, and SAINTS......OUCH.

2. TEXANS 9-7 Just missing the PLAYOFFS again: And if that scenario happens the just turned 50 year old head coach Greg KUBIAK can stage left. The one improvement they have is an All-Pro in the Back Field in RB Arian FOSTER. The TE OWEN DANIELS, when healthy, is All-Pro caliber and a NAPERVILLE ILLINOIS CENTRAL HS Alum. That is also the Home of Brother and SISTER combo Anthony PARKER of the CAVS and one Candace PARKER of the LA SPARKS. They also have the BEST WR in the GAME in the BEAST.....ANDRE JOHNSON.

Defensively they get COWBOYS ex HEAD MAN Wade PHILLIPS and he is an excellent Defensive Coordinator. Only problem is they are turning the D from a 4-3 to a complex 3-4 and DE Mario WILLIAMS of the ACC University of RALEIGH.....is working out as a Stand-Up OLB.....at 6'7" and 290 EL BEES....and boy did he look stiff watching the Monday night Pre season tilt vs the JETS this past MONDAY.

OUTLOOK: Do they really have time to move to a 3-4 as KUBIAK knows it's PLAYOFF or 3 Men and a TRUCK. The funny thing is the TEXANS look like World Beaters vs the COLTS.....then they tend to look at the other parts of the Schedule like.......we gettin' GAME CHECKS dawg. The loss of SS Bernard POLLARD of INDIANA STATE in TERRE HAUTE Indiana.....the home of the SYCAMORES and the HICK from FRENCH LICK....LARRY LEGEND BIRD. They have the AFC NORTH on the schedule and the NFC South...which combined has about 5 playoff teams and 4 for sure plus 2 games with the COLTS..........One game at a time boys.....One GAME.

3. JAGS 7-9 playing for the right to get a STUD WR in the 2012 NFL DRAFT: They have POCKET HERCULES.....Mo JONES -DREW. But he doesn't play the TE and WIDE outs or help you in the Kicking Game. They have QB David GARRARG who has been looking over his shoulder for quite sometime now.......and they DRAFT MIZZOU QB Blaine GABBERT in the TOP 10.......I see that short leash right behind Coach Jack DEL RIO.

Defensively they are descent. Nothing to write home about. But since I said that they have been busy adding solid player in Linebackers Paul POSLUSZNY and Clint SESSIONS. they also go out and get SS Dawan LANDRY from the RAVENS to go with their cornerstone Corner in Reshean MATHIS...who is one of the better corners in the AFC.

OUTLOOK: Jack DEL RIO also knows like the TEXANS KUBIAK........the Pressure to get into the PLAYOFFS is at an all-time high and DEL RIO knows anything less than that would probably cost him his tenure as head coach. They need for the OFFESNIVE ATTACK to be balanced and that new look D to come up BIG. They also have the AFC North and the NFC South...Not to mention the TEXANS and COLTS twice each. For DEL RIO to get into the PLAYOFFS with that SCHEDULE is a tall order.

4. TITANS 6-10 They can't win with a ROOKIE QB and a Patched up D: I am going to start by saying TITANS Owner and former Houston OILERS AFL Owner Bud ADAMS needs to get on that GULFSTREAM 5 and go talk to CJ28.......Star RB Chris JOHNSON. Last week they already started docking his pay at $30k a day. Yeah look at that number........THREE ZERO COMMA THREE more ZEROES and a PERIOD with the ones and tens place with ZEROES....a day. And just think I failed General Math my freshman year in COLLEGE. So before I talk about Rookie QB Jake LOCKER......where is CHRIS J 28?

The DEFENSE will be tested at times as their front four are average but their Strength is in their secondary with Pro Bowlers in Safeties Michael GRIFFIN of Hookem' Horns and Chris HOPE of the 'NOLES along with Strong side Corner Cortland FINNEGAN. They will be tested early and often and the TITANS know what's coming. If they can get some push upfront they can make a move in the Division easily.

OUTLOOK: Get CHRIS Happy and into CAMP ASAP and keep WR and a talented one Kenny BRITT from doing anything. Then get Rookie QB Jake LOCKER as many REPS as he can get with the ones to see if the TITANS really want to go that route and if LOCKER gibes them the best chance to win. They have the AFC North and the NFC South and also they play the BEARS. Tough Sledding for team that right doesn't even have its best player.
