the 2011 Top Middle/INSIDE LineBackers on SUNDAY......Don't need Mr. DRUMMOND.....WILLIS is already in the BUILDING....whose the #2 MLB?

USUALLY the man i the MIDDLE of any defense on SUNDAY is the PLAYER who calls all the PLAYS for the D, he always knows where everyone is suppose to be, and out of due respect is the CAPTAIN and one of your leaders on your team. This BATCH of Linebackers are no different the years past....they are just BIGGER, NASTIER, FASTER, and SMARTER.....in most cases.

This Years Crop is lead by the Same guy from last year and he will probably lead for the next few years as he is just getting started. Let's check out the MEN in the MIDDLE on SUNDAYS:

1. Patrick WILLIS OXFORD MS Ole REBELS down there CANDLESTICK by the BAY: The Throwback Middle Linebacker if there ever was one. Simply a beast at the point of attack, sideline to sideline there is only one guy faster......and I will mention him in a bit. WILLIS reminds me of 4-Year Starter as Florida STATE Marvin "SHADE TREE" JONES.....remember he played for the JETS at the MEADOWLANDS. Except WILLIS is much faster but the instinct are all there. He was the TRUTH in OXFORD and now he is the TRUTH in the BAY.

2. Ray LEWIS the U Coral Gables FLA Mr BALTIMORE RAVEN Himself: Enough SAID PERIOD...the Only Reason he is not at #1....FATHER TIME catches up to all of us.....other than that.....maybe the BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN...and my STEELERS have GUYS like him lined up in ROWS. The most amazing thing about RAY is his ability to get people focused, lead by example, and go 110% an if you don't follow you will be in that FILM STUDY next week wishing you were on board the LEWIS TRAIN.

3. Jon BEASON the U Coral Gables FLA Queen City: Exceptional Speed form sideline to sideline. EXPLOSIVE at the point of ATTACK.....and will get ALL over you like a GOOD HIT of PATRON or Bumpy Face....BLUEDUDE this is a FAMILY SHOW...I KNOW......Another great on from HURRICANES in 305. Has made up for another former 'CANE that had to retire a PANTHER due to injuries Dan MORGAN.....the PANTHERS like those dudes from the U.

4. Brian URLACHER New Mexico LOBOS Monsters of the MIDWAY: Has maybe lost a STEP or a half of a STEP.....but Gives a LICKIN and keep on TICKIN. Uralcher's Size and versatility in that TAMPA 2 Coverage makes him an elite MLB and can still get Sideline to Sideline. The BEARS have had Great Middle Linebackers and I would put #54 right in that pack with no hesitation and almost 2 SUPER BOWL Appearances........and the BEARS ARE NOT DONE.

5. David HARRIS UM ANN ARBOR Gotham CITY JETS: Is a top 3 MLB in Stopping the RUN. He was a STUD at MICHIGAN when he played with the LIKES of Lamaar WOODLEY (STEELERS), Leon HALL (BENGALS), Alan BRANCH (CARDS), and Prescott BURGESS (RAVENS). Also his bread and butter is when the JETS dial up that Delayed MIDDLE BLITZ.....#52 is ll over it. The JETS were thought to be done after losing NT Kris JENKINS to another ACL Tear in GAME #1 last season......they didn't miss too much because the man behind him making plays is DAVID HARRIS.

6. Lawrence TIMMONS LEON COUNTY FLA 'NOLES STEEL CURTAIN 2K11: A breakout season from the man they call LAWdawg. he is the FASTEST MLB sideline to sideline in the NFL.....sorry WILLIS and BEASON. I remember when STEELERS DE Brett KIESEL first saw TIMMONS in PRACTICE he said, " It LOOKS LIKE TIMMONS HAS JETS in his BUTT he that fast". Can run down anything and is another one in a long line of STEELER Linebackers that are BIG TIME. STEELERS Director of FOOTBALL OPS Kevin COLBERT hit a HOMERUN or should I say Grand Slam in that DRAFT referring to the 2007 NFL Draft LAWdawg 1(15) and LWOOD 2(46).

7. Jarod MAYO SMOKEY at ROCKY TOP UT GILLETTE Stadium: The man has arrived and is in the LINEBACKER Rich System of a Bill Belichek Defense. Excellent Coverage Skills and a Good All-Around Linebacker. Has really good size an is a SURE TACKLER......and one can't under estimate that. Will only get better as has learned a lot of the nuances of the PATRIOT STYLE of D.

8. Jonathan VILMA 'CANES 305 WHO DAT? GONE BEAT DEM SAINTS : The Brains of the Operation. So skilled an talented another one of those guys who was a Top Tier Player at the U alongside BRONCOS MLB and Captain DJ WILLIAMS in the 305. Understands everything about the D....like RAY LEWIS Taught him......and probably did.....a SUPERB athlete and his speed makes him overcomes his SIZE at times.

9. James FARRIOR WAHOOS CHARLOTTESVILLE V A STEEL CURTAIN 2K11: STILL GOING......in years right there with the great RAY LEWIS. Always the STEELERS Top 3 TACKLER. All that experience as he was drafted in the 1st round about 14 years ago by the JETS. He ha been with the STEELERS now for 10 years. POTSIE is what His Parents and STEELER NATION call him because of his POT BELLY when he was a BABY. Still can fly to the ball in the RUN and always in the right place at the right time. Will go down as one of the All-Time Great Steelers.

10. Derrick JOHNSON UT AUSTIN Hookem' HORNS CHIEFS: The light finally came on as JOHNSON answered the bell that was set out there by Chiefs Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel and Head Coach Todd Haley. An ultra-talented ALL-THAT Linebacker at TEXAS AUSTIN.......a sideline to sideline Missile and he will only get better as the CHIEFS are starting look like the PATS of the MIDWEST...thank you CHIEFS PREZ Scott PIOLI....a Former PATRIOT Front Office Exec.
