Well the next SCHOOL I am about to tell you about has maybe the best list of all.......CHICAGO SIMEON HS. Their list is loaded as well with the likes of the LATE GREAT BEN WILSON (#25), Nick ANDERSON Illinois, Bobby SIMMONS DePAUL, Derrick ROSE MEMPHIS, and the next one in line for greatness.......WF Jabari PARKER, son of CHICAGO Playground LEGENDS Sonny PARKER.
Standing at nearly 6'8" and about 220 EL BEES, JABARI is the latest in a long line of GREAT SIMEON PLAYERS that have came onto the ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL Scene with reckless abandon. Look at these STATS....and mind you only going to be a JUNIOR.
* Averaged only 16ppg 8 rebs.......a complete player that lets the game come to him......very unselfish almost to a fault sometimes
* 2010-2011 All-City SELECTION
* 2-Time All-STATE
* The CONSENSUS #4 Rated PLAYER in the United STATES in the class of 2013
* Back to Back ILLINOIS STATE Championships......i have seen both 1st hand........he is unstoppable on this level
* 2-Time RED SOUTH Conference CHAMPS
WANTED by every MAJOR SCHOOL in the US.....CAMERON INDOOR, ROCK CHALK, FRANKLIN STREET, HIGH STREET, BLUEGRASS Country Lexington.........and for those of you who didn't get that......DUKE, KANSAS, UNC CHAPEL HILL, OHIO STATE, and KENTUCKY
Some have even mentioned that PARKER only being a SOPHOMORE going into his JR SEASON...might be better than BULLS PG and 2010-2011 NBA MVP Derrick ROSE. I will say this he is bigger......but he has a LONG WAY to go.....and I think DERRICK is 1 0f the TOP 5 ever to come out of CHICAGO........so for right now....PICK ANOTHER FIGHT.
I will have updates on PARKER as the year progresses.......and we will see if he can get to that #1 HS BB Ranking as the season and next SUMMER plots along.
I know Andrew HARRISON of Fort BEND TX TRAVIS hs #1, Juluis RANDLE of PLANO TX Prestonwood Christian Academy #2, and Chris WALKER of BONIFAY FLA Holmes COUNTY #3 might have something to say about that........as they are listed alomost in every PUBLICATION as being ahead of PARKER.
