It was the arm of Orioles Starter Miguel Gonzalez that led the Charm City Birds into a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees Tuesday night at Camden Yards. "Gonzo" pitched seven frames allowing a run on four hits as he struck out 10 Bombers.

He also received solid run support via the "Long Ball" as O's CF "Adam Bombs" Jones touched Yanks starter C.C. Sabathia in the bottom half of the 1st for a Solo shot for an Orioles 1-0 lead. The O's would tack on three more runs as they get one in the 3rd, 4th, and 7th for a 4-1 lead. That Bombers first run in the 6th came on a Mark Teixeira two-bagger scoring Delmon Young.

Sabathia would leave after the 7th going seven allowing four runs on seven hits as he walked one and struck out seven. The Orioles Relief would later give up two more runs in the 8th before O's Captain Save-A-Game Zach Britton would slam the door in the 9th for a 4-3 "W"!

The O's move to 4-4 as the Bombers drop to 3-5 in 2015...
