The Houston Rockets get huge output from that bench as they out score Dallas' Bench 40-34 as ex-Mavs Star Jet "206" Terry goes for 10 points including a huge money ball down the stretch for a Rockets 108-101 "W"!

Dallas was up 55-47 at the break as things were looking up for the Mavs. Dallas was led by Monta Ellis' 10 points and S.T.A.T. dba Amare Stoudamire going for 9 points at the break. James Harden had 14 points with Trevor Ariza adding 9 as the Rockets still were within striking distance.

Dirk Nowitzki fresh off passing the 28K point plateau led Dallas though the 3rd with 14 points as he had the Mavs led 83-77 after three. It was the Rockets taking the lead 98-95 on that Jet Terry Money Ball I was describing earlier at the four minute mark that put Houston up for good as they escape with a 108-101 "W"!

Harden led with 24 points as Ariza added 19 points, six boards and six assists. Josh Smith went double double with 15 points and a dozen boards as they killed the Mavs on the glass at a +14 clip and a a 17-9 advantage on the offensive glass.

Dirk led Dallas with 21 points and seven boards with Monta adding 19. Dallas shot themselves in the foot by being -9 from the arc and letting the Rockets control the glass. Houston moves ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies for #2 in the west. The Mavs look like they will be #7 and get as we go to press the Rockets in round 1.
