NFL Week 9 "Early Slate" Take 2 in "A QB Driven League"...
#GangGreen (1-7) @ #RedFriday (4-3) 1pm ET
Where do you start talking the New York Jets as the wheels have been off and now it's time to blow it up midway through 2014. The "Mike Vick Experience" is long gone and he will be under center vs a Chiefs "D" that send Sunday signal-callers to the cold tub on Sunday forget Monday. The Jets need to get something going and what about RB's Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory to take pressure off Vick?
The Chiefs are riding that wave as they have been on stable ground since beating the Chargers in the
"Murph" a few weeks back. RB Knile Davis has taken a huge load off of Jamaal Charles and the offense is balanced. Can the Chiefs put the Jets away quickly and move to an impressive 5-3 without Captain and ILB Derrick Hookem' Horns" Johnson on IR with a torn Achilles?
Winner: Chiefs 30-10...going away
#BoltsUp (5-3) @ #AquaBoyz305 (4-3) 1pm ET
The San Diego Chargers last played two Thursday ago and now it gets real as they were 5-1 just two weeks ago. Losses to the Broncos and Chiefs have put things in perspective. QB Phillip Rivers was on a tear as was his ace TE Antonio Gates and now they have his a bump in the road. It might be on the Chargers "D" coming out of the Motel on Sunday vs the Aqua Boyz 305!
The Dolphins riding high after beating the Bears and Jags look to get right in the middle of the AFC east race. QB Ryan Tannehill has played much better and the Phins have been doing with a nice mix of offense and defense. Both Lamar Miller and Mike "Ocean's 11" Wallace have emerged for the Phins at #1 targets on the ground and air. Can the Bolts "D" take them away and make Tannehill beat them going elsewhere?
Winner: Bolts 20-17...Game-Winning FG as the Chargers needed that!
#HTTR (3-5) @ #SKOLnation (3-5) 1pm ET
The 'Skins will have QB RG3 back in the fold and no QB Colt McCoy or Kirk Cousins are better than having RG3 at QB. Having said that McCoy set a nice table for RG3 to comeback to as the Redskins are on a two-game win streak. WR DeSean Jackson torched the Cowboys secondary and RB Alfred Morris ran hard and did what he was suppose to do move the chains and take some of the burden off McCoy. Can RG3 sustain this momentum the 'Skins have built?
The Vikes are coming off Rook OLB Anthony Barr's game-winning trifecta for the win...tackle, forced fumble, and fumble recovery for six. Rook QB Teddy Bridgewater has been solid and the Vikes are back home trying to get out of the NFC central basement. Can that Vikes front get to RG3 and slow down that passing game led by DeSean "Nestea Plunge" Jackson? Are the Vikes better than the Bears?
Winner: #HTTR 27-17...RG3 dazzles following the game plan with no out-of-body experiences!
