The Atlanta Braves are hitting their stride as they head west to take on the up and down L.A. Dodgers for a four game set. The Braves come in with a five game lead over the surging Phightin' Phils. Scary part about the Braves the Big Boys have yet to get it going at the dish and they are still 15 games over the .500 mark.

The Dodgers are a whole other story as expectations were high coming in and injuries plus a slow start have put them in a hole. Now as we go to press they have no Carl Crawford or Matt Kemp as they are a day to day operation with the line-up card. The Boys in Blue are currently 8 1/2 games out of first and they have plenty of work to do.

BRAVES @ DODGERS 4-Game Set

June 6, 2013 10:10pm ET
ATL Hudson (4-4) vs LAD Greinke (2-1)

June 7, 2013 10:10pm ET
ATL Maholm (7-4) vs LAD Ryu (6-2)

June 8, 2013 10:10pm ET
ATL Medlen (2-6) vs LAD Fife (1-0)

June 9, 2013 4:10pm ET
ATL Minor (7-2) vs LAD Lilly (0-2)

The Dodgers must try to get the first two games as they have Greinke and Ryu going vs "Huddie" and Maholm. The Back End the Dodgers have Fife and Lilly and the Braves have to be favored in those match ups with a Kris Medlen whose last star was Medlen-esque and Minor has been dealing.

The Dodgers are in a danger zone as it is June and they are over a week behind. The Braves are in a good spot as they have it on cruise control and their Stars will eventually start to hit as that is the "Law of Averages".

The Dodgers will not have Ace LHP Clayton Kershaw going in this series and that is disappointing for the "Boys in Blue".
