Just for starters the Pens have put the Frozen One in Net some 47 times in just eleven games. The Spokes are the "Secretary of Defense: in Ice Games as they are led by Norris Trophy Royalty Zdeno Chara and they also put the Frozen One in Net because you can't win...if you don't score.

Story Lines well how about Calgary Flames Royalty Jarome Iginla choosing the Pens over the Bruins as he had spent his whole career with the Flames. Now he faces the Team that he didn't choose and no hard feelings but the Bruins have to be thinking its bigger than Jarome. The Net Minders have both played extremely well and there is no better time than to bring your Conn Smythe Game in net than now.

#Spokes BRUINS @ #Pens PENGUINS

The Bruins made quick work of an over matched Blue Shirts Squad..the New York Rangers in round two and now they get the best arguably the best in Ice Games 2012-13 in the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pens are loaded but the Spokes are no Crumbs on the Ice Outfit either. They have the best defenseman in the Series in Zdeno Chara (pictured right). Yes the Pens Defenseman Kris Letang (below left) is leading Ice Game Winning Time with 16 points but he is a puck below Chara who has 11 points. The Spokes also have the Points Leader for Winning Time in Right Winger David Krejci who has 17 points and five by the Frozen One. Right Winger Nathan Horton also has put his stamp on the Spokes Run in 2K13 with 12 points and five by the Puck. Don;lt forget about the Bruins Heart and Soul Patrice Bergeron.

The Pens are led by the Best Player in the game in Center Sidney 'Sid the Kid" Crosby (15 points/ 7 goals 8 assists). The Puck doesn't stop there as the aforementioned Letang's Points are matched by Left Winger Evgeni Malkin (16 pts/4 goals 12 assists). The Pens have those Three River Monsters and then you start throwing in names like Jarome Iginla (12 pts), Pascal Dupuis (10 pts), and James Neal (10 pts). So much talent and they can strike from anywhere. The Pens will have their hands full as the Bruins have Ziploc-Tight D and the best in Ice game Winning Time for 2013.

The Net Minders have been good with Pens Tomas Vokoun (1.85 GAA) being the better of the two as we go to press. Bruins Tuukka Rask (2.22 GAA) has been better of late but still has his nights. That's where that Spokes D comes in handy with the less Pucks on Net the less chances Rask has to miss pucks. One has to figure he will see a barrage of the Frozen One on Net in this Series. If it comes down to Goalies the Pens should win the Series but something tells me there will be a few other factors.

Game 1 June 1 at 8pm ET...in the Burgh.....Game 2 Monday Night at 8pm ET in th 'Burgh.
