The Top Ten ERA's in the American League is held by none other than Mr. Buchholz of the Carmines and why not. A Sparkling 9-0 W-L record in his first twelve starts and hitters are only connecting on him at the dish at an average of .195. More times the not an ERA below the 3.00 will keep you above the .500 mark unless your run support is stuck at Zilch!

The Top 10 ERA's in the AL through June 9, 2013...

Note: W-L in parenthesis

1. Buchholz #Carmines 1.71 (9-0)

2. Iwakuma #Ms 1.94 (6-1)

3. Cobb #Rays 2.39 (6-2)

4. Kid Felix #Ms 2.49 (7-4)

5. Sanchez #Tigers 2.65 (6-5)

6. Sale #PaleHose 2.68 (6-5)

7. Darvish #Rangers 2.75 (7-2)

8. Shields #Royals 2.81 (2-6)

9. Holland #Rangers 2.82 (5-2)

10. Kuroda #Pinstripes 2.84 (6-5)

Buchholz' Teammate Jon Lester is #17 on the List and is 6-2 with a 3.60 ERA and a huge reason the Bo Sox are atop the AL East as we go to press.

The M's are next to the bottom in the west and with both Iwakuma and Kid Felix with below 3.00 ERA's they are getting no run support...none.

Cobb has stepped up as Shields is in K.C. and Price is on the D.L....

Sanchez is the #3 Man on the Staff behind both Verlander and Scherzer but leads them both in ERA....and the Tigers will be back in Winning Time because of it.

Sale doesn't have the W-L Numbers for the Chi Sox but he is still having a pretty good season as the Sox Ace...

Darvish and Holland is that 1-2 Punch the Rangers need as they try to hold off the Athletics....

Shields Record isn't indicative of  of how well he has pitched fore the Royals...

Kuroda and Sabathia are the two constants for the Yanks on the Bump that every 5th day....and Kuroda has been stellar
