Some thought the Spurs would be somewhat rusty after such a long layoff and that they were not as the Spurs strike in game one 92-88. What we do know is the players that were suppose to lead ...led.  Spurs Point God Tony Parker sealed the deal with a "Get up off your knees Shot-Clock not your friend Bankers Hours Bank Shot". TP9 had 21 points and six helpers and had a smooth floor game as he had Zero Turnovers....Zilch!

King James played server, cook, bartender, front of the house, back of the house, greeter, and general manager as he messed around and got a Triple-Double.  James stat line...18 points, eighteen boards, and ten helpers and only two turnovers. Wade County (17 points) and Bosh (13 points) were not stellar but they had the Heat in place to get the win. What was stellar was the Spurs Supporting Cast behind Tp9's Team. Dunc (20 pts 14 rebs), Manu (13 pts), D.G of AT&T for Three (12 pts), and K.L. (10 pts) all played the perfect game behind Parker as they shared the Orange and played Chip Winning Hoops.

The game was played as well as a Finals game could be played as there were only twelve turnovers. Neither Team shot well from the Field or the Arc. Heat shot just under 44% from the Field and under 33% from the Arc. The Spurs shot just under 42% from the field and just over 30% from the Arc. It came down to what the "Fight  For Larry" always comes down to...."Make a Play".

Game 2 Sunday June 9, 2013...at the AA 305
