The Chicago Blackhawks made quick work finally off a stubborn Minnesota Wild Outfit by beating the Wild 5-1. The Hawks again displayed stingy "D", top shelf Penalty Killing, and were just too aggressive for a Wild Team that looked like they made up their mind the Series was over after the Game 4 loss in St. Paul.

The Hawks get goals from Hossa (2), Sharp, Frolik, and Shaw. The Hawks dominated the play from the jump and their Defense was their Offense as they pressured the Puck in the Wild End and the Wild made costly mistakes. Wild Goalie Harding was replaced during the 2nd frame when the Hawks went up 3-0. Hawks Net Minder Crawford was again fabulous allowing One Frozen One to get by him on  22 SOA.

The Hawks now will get some much-needed rest as the Western Conference Heavy-Hitters will now get a shot at the Hawks. The Hawks will now face either the #6 seed Sharks are #7 Seed Wings of Hockey Town USA.
