The Jacksonville Jaguars usher in a New Era as they go to 12th Man Space Needle and grab Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley as their next lead man. The Pick was staring them in the face and they get it right at #2 going Original 12th Man College Station Texas Left tackle Luke Joeckel as their pick. The Jags also had glaring needs at Wide out, Safety, and at Corner. Did they address those needs and how many "Plug and Play" Players did they get in the 2013 Draft Class?

2013 JAGS Draft Picks

Round Pick Position Player College

1 2 OT Luke Joeckel #12thMan

2 1 SS Jonathan Cyprien #FIU

3 2 CB Dwayne Gratz #UConn

4 4 WR Ace Sanders #gameCOCKS

5 2 WR Denard Robinson #GoBlue

6 1 FS Josh Evans #theSwamp

7 2 CB Jeremy Harris #NMSU

7 4 CB Demetrius McCray #AppState

Joeckel and #1 2013 Pick Eric Fisher (Chiefs) are the same guy and the Jags were going to get one or the other. He is a 8-10 year Left tackle barring Injuries and you hate to say can't miss but Joeckel is as close an anything in this Draft that can't miss.  Jags get an A+ on this one.

The get a Strong Safety in Cyprien and a Free Safety in Evans and they both have a shot to start as Cyprien is a "Plug and Play" Player as is Joeckel. Cyprien reminds me of current Falcons SS William Moore a thumper who can play in the box or coverage. Evans is a true cover safety that played alongside Ravens #1 2013 Pick SS Matt Elam. Again the need was in high demand and the Jags get one in the 2nd round and the other in round six.

Cornerback is where they needed to add a possible starter on the weak side and at nickel and they grabbed three of them. Gratz of UConn was their 3rd round corner and he should start opposite of Jags Vet CB Reshean Mathis. Both Harris McCray will compete for that Nickel Corner Slot and play Special Teams.

With the Status of 2012 1st round Justin Blackmon still struggling off the field the Jags get them a pair of Wide Outs. Well 4th round pick Ace Sanders is a burner from Ole Ball Coach Steve Nest. The Other is a former QB converted into a WR in Michigan QB Denard Robsinson. Robinson is an interesting prospect but he is an athlete. Bradley and his Staff will get Robinson on the field somewhere as you can never have enough explosive gadgets.

Overall the Jags addressed needs and they have at least two "Plug and Play" Players in Joeckel and Cyprien. B+ as Bradley gets rave reviews on his 1st Jags Draft as they build to get to the Top of the AFC South...
