The Detroit Red Wings come into the United Center for their Saturday Matinee Tilt with the Blackhawks and overpower the Hawks like few have in 2013. Behind a nice game plan from Hockey Town USA Lead Man Babcock and following Datsyuk and Zetterberg's Lead the Wings execute the Perfect Storm for a 4-1 "W".

The Hawks struck first as "Citizen Kane 88" finally hits the back of the nets in Period 1 for the only score in that frame. The Hawks looked like they were on their way but he Wings stayed true to the plan. The Wings then strike four times and twice in the 2nd and 3rd frames to roll the credits on game two. Brunner hit the nets first like he did in game one and he was followed by Brendan Smith and that made it 2-1 Wings after two with all the "MO" on Hockey Town USA's side.

The 3rd frame started with a little over 7 minutes into that Period Wings Right Winger Johan Franzen gets one past Crawford and that made it 3-1. If that goal didn't take what was left in Black and Red Nation I don't know what did. The Wings then capped the scoring when Center Valtteri Filppula scored around the 7 minute mark in the 3rd frame and the Wings were on their way. The Blackhawks only had 20 shots on goal and that was to the Wings Credit as they kept the puck in the Hawks end for most of the game.

Blackhawks Center Jonathan Toews couldn't get loose as the Wings matched him up with Henrik Zetterberg and he did a magnificent job on the Hawks Captain. Hawks didn't have the same intensity and fire they have had in the previous five wins and that was clearly evident from the jump.  Hawks now will go to the Motor City for two starting with Game 3 on Monday night and the Hawks must get Home Ice back on their side.
