The San Antonio Spurs put the Blueprint on how to slow down the Grizz and handle them with ease. The Spurs beat Memphis 105-83 and the Grizz have some work to do as now they know it will not be easy taking down the Spurs to get to the "Fight for Larry".

Spurs came right out the chute with a 31-14 1st frame and that set the tempo for the rest of he night as they dominated Memphis. Spurs shooting some 53% from the Field and nearly 50% from the Arc on some 24 attempts was in the cards today. The Grizz cannot come out of the Motel and let the home Team do whatever they want and expect to win. The Spurs Young Stars K.L. of Alamo City (18 pts) and D.G. of AT&T (16 pts 4 rebs) did work for the Spurs as the Grizz Duo of West Side Tony and Tay couldn't stop either one. Spurs Point God TP9 led the Spurs with 20 points and they coasted the rest of the night.

The Grizz don't shoot the Money Ball well and if they allow teams to hit double digit on them they will have no shot at beating the Spurs. A -27 in Money Balls and losing by 22...do the math. Couple that with @MacBO50...Grizz PF Zach Randolph scoring just two points...that's your ball game. The Grizz didn't play all that bad its just that they are not built to comeback fro large deficits to a Team like the Spurs. Grizz were led by role player "Q" with 17 points and that cannot happen if they want to get to the "Fight for Larry".

Game 2 will be Tuesday May 21 at the Big Land Line...the AT&T Center
