The Boston Bruins escaped the inevitable in Game 7 vs the Leafs and have new life. The Rangers also escaped a Game 7 vs the Caps and they feel the same as the Bruins. Now they both get fresh life in another series as the Highlight of this match up will be the Rangers Defensemen vs the Bruins Top, Trio.

Rangers Top Defensemen of Dan Girardi and Ryan McDonagh again will have their hands full with a Bruins Offense led by Center David Krejci ( 5 G 8 A 13 pts), RW Nathan Horton (4 G 3 A 7 pts), and LW Milan Lucic (2 G 7 A 9 pts). The Rangers are well aware how they torched the Leafs and will be locked in to the Bruins Top Weapons. The Bruins also have Norris Trophy Candidate Zdeno Chara (1 G 7 A 8 pts) of Slovakia and he is all of that in that Bruins back end.

The Rangers will have to put the Frozen One in the Net to have a chance in this one starting with the likes of Center Derick Brassard (2G 7 A 9 pts) whom leads the charge for the Rangers. The Blueshirts are not the most explosive bunch on Offense but they twelve players from round 1 with at least two points. They also have Star Net Minder Henrik Lundqvist playing out if his mind. His 1.65 GAA is just below Chicago Blackhawks Corey Crawford (1.27 GAA) for Winning Time. Now who needs to score in bunches when you have Defensemen and a Goalie like the Blueshirts.
