The Atlanta Falcons did some early house cleaning and cut some cornerstones as they are moving in another direction and let's say it has to do with adding some young talent. They cut Running Back Michael "Burner" Turner, DE and Future HOF John Abraham, and Corner Dunta Robinson. The Abraham release shocked everyone including Abraham but he'll get over it it's a business. They also added Ex-Rams RB Steven Jackson to the mix and that is a huge boost to that Offense that is already loaded.

The Falcons looking at the 2013 Draft needed immediate help in the Secondary as Robinson is gone, Brent Grimes is no longer with the Team, and Ashante Samuel is almost dunzo. Dirty Birds GM Thomas Dimitroff went to work and grabbed three corner including two with the first two picks in round one and two.

2013 Falcons Draft Picks sponsored by...Falcons came within a Play of getting to the Big One now what will they do foe an Encore?

Round Pick Position Player School

1 22 CB Desmond Trufant #UDub Seattle

2 28 CB Robert Alford #SELA

4 30 DE Malliciah Goodman #DeathValleyOrange

4 36 TE Levine Toilolo #theFarm

5 20 DE Stansly Maponga #HornedFrogs

7 37 CB Kemal Ishmael #UCF

7 38 SS Zeke Motta #Irish

7 43 QB Sean Renfree #BlueDevils

Trufant (Bloodline with Two Brothers playing in NFL including former Pro Bowl Seahawks CB Marcus ) might get the nod opposite of Samuels and Alford from the Rajun Cajuns  will also be in the mix. Ishmael will be a special teamer like most while trying to get in the mix at Corner.

Goodman and Maponga is what they need upfront to replace Abraham and they need to get younger on that front line...

Toilolo will learn from the best in Tony Gonzalez and that can only be a plus for the Falcons as many though they would go to ND Eiferrt or Stanford's Ertz at Tight End.

Motta will give them Quality Depth behind a Top Five Safety Duo on Sunday in DeCoud and Moore....

The Falcons saw something in Renfree as he is a 7th Round Project at QB.....

Overall the Falcons get a C+ for the simple fact they get Corners their biggest need in the Draft and Trufant was one of the best available...
