Nuggets EVP of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri has been names 2012-13 NBA Exec of the Year for 2012-13 and deservedly so. The Nuggets collected all the top Awards but unfortunately missed out on the "Fight for Larry" but its in the cards for the future.

Ujiri has been running the Nuggets for the last four seasons  and he was responsible for pulling off the "Bully of New MSG" Trade to NYC as the Nugs received two vital pieces back for the current Power Surge in the West. Melo and Mr. Big Shot...Chauncey Billups for Danillo Gallanari and Wilson Chandler. The Most difficult thing to do as in Exec is to trade your Franchise-Type Player before his prime and get pieces but if your going to do it you must do it the way the Nuggets and Ujiri did it.

The Nuggets also picked up Javale McGee from the Wizards and Corey Brewer from the Timberwolves for little of nothing. Then you take those four players mentioned and then get into the Dwight and Andrew Sweepstakes last summer and get Iggy of Mile High from Philly right off the Charter from London Summer Game 2012. The Nugs also have home grown pick Ty Lawson at Point Guard coming around as the Nugs have pretty much everyone locked up to make a serious run in the next three seasons. Ujiri and Coach Karl have done it the right way and the Nuggets Ownership has to ecstatic looking ahead.

Others receiving Votes for NBA Exec of the Year 2012-13....
Note: Total Votes in Parenthesis

1. M. Ujiri #Nuggets (58)

2. G. Sacks #LobCity (28)

3. D. Morey #RedNation (25)

4. G. Grunwald #KnicksTape (25)

5. R.C. Buford #AlamoCitySpurs (24)

6. P. Riley #Champs305 (24)

7. B. Myers #DUBnation (23)

8. S. Presti #ThunderNation (12)

Sacks made the trade to get CP3 to the Clips with help from David A. Stern but the Bench he has put together was monumental in Clips Success in tthe 2012-13 season...Matt B & Bledsoe & Lam Lam & Jamal 206 among others. Now he has to convince CP3 to stay in L.A. and it won't be as hard as everyone is making that out to be.

Morey pulled off the James Harden Trade and over plays both LINsanity and Big Omer Asik but no one is complaining in #RedNation. Couple all of that with drafting Chandler "Parsons in a Red Nation Tree", grabbing Free Agent Shooter Carlos Delfino and still has dreams of getting "Dwight of Three Stripes" to #RedNation this summer.

Grunwald put the current Knicks Regime together getting AARP Vets  J-Kidd, the Camby Man, K-Mart, signing 29-year old Rook Chris Copeland, and re-signing "Get Shots" J.R....not bad as its always about Knicks Biz.

Buford didn't change the Roster at all really but it's how the Silver & Black of Texas do business almost better than anyone in the Logo.  Moving up to get Kawhi Leonard in the 2011 Draft was one heckuva move nut for the Spurs its what they do as they see Players before you.

Riley solidified the Heat's stay at the top by adding Shooter Sugar Rat and Shard Lewis and then adding the "Birdman" late as they needed a Bodyguard in the Paint and an Inside Presence.

Myers (a former NBA Agent) has done wonders in Planet Oracle and the Draft Run he is currently on ( Klay-T, Barnes, Ezeli, and Green) and picking up Free Agents Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry both of the Hornets...Dubs all day!....Throw in getting the Big Aussie Bogut for "Mississippi Lightning" Monta...Throw the "W" Up! That Pacific Division has changed and the LAKEshow better tighten things up or it might be too late.

Presti will be judged on how the Thunder finish in 2012-13 Winning Time. He had to do what he and to do with new Salary Cap Penalties on the horizon. Trading Harden wasn't in the Cards but financially it wasn't going to work with Harden (and his People) looking at Max Contract Money. Still the Pieces right now looked like they fit but they are rail thin in the Paint...OKC is.
