The Cincinnati Red Legs and the Washington Nationals appear to be the Two Best in the Show Period and the Rangers among others would have something to say about that before its all said and done. The Race for #1 seed in the NL will go down to the Final Weekend or until the Nats take Baseball away from S2 (Stephen Strasburg) for the Season.

The Braves know if they keep pace with the Nats or try to keep pace they will be in that Bogus One Game Play-In Wild Card Fiasco. The Real Race might be in the NL West where the Boys in Blue get some Light with 2 in a Row vs the D-Backs at Chavez Ravine. If the Dodgers don't catch the NL West Leading Gigantes they know it will be tough sledding to get that last Wild Card Berth.

The Defending World Champion Redbirds are sitting at #2 with both the Buccos and Dodgers within 1.5 games of them. The Pirates have forgot about catching the Reds and have put their Efforts to staying in the NL Wild Card Race.

NL Power Ranking September 2012

1. RED LEGS (82-53)
2. Nats (81-52)
3. Gigantes (76-58)
4. Braves (75-59)
5. Redbirds (72-62)

NL Wild Card

1. BRAVES (75-59)
2. Redbirds (72-62)
3. Boys in Blue (72-63)
4. Buccos (70-63)
5. D-Backs (66-69)

The Reds and the Nats are in a Good Place with Reds up almost 10 Games on the Redbirds and the Nats almost up 7 full Games on the Braves.

The Gigantes seem to be on the Verge at least with those 4 Arms (Cain, Bumgarner, Vogelsong, Lincecum) of putting the NL West away and the Dodgers need to get on their Horse and fast.

The Redbirds are trying to hold off the Buccos and Dodgers for the last Seat in the NL Wild Card. The Dodgers want the NL West only and 4.5 Games Back. Buccos and Redbirds have no shot chasing Reds and Only the NL Wild Card or Bust.
