The Objective is in Baseball or any Sport is to outscore your Opponent. Have you ever sat back and realized how many times in a Season a Player in the Show that is All-Star Caliber crosses the Dish for a Run Scored? Take for instance the All-Time Leader in the Show in Runs Scored has scored over 2,000 plus Times. The 2012 Show Leader in Runs Scored is Halos Rookie Sensation CF Mike Trout who has 115 Runs Scored on the Season. The Next Closest is Pirates OF Andrew McCutchen with 98 Runs Scored. For Trout to Score over 2,000 Runs he would have to average at least 100 Runs per for 20 Seasons.

The All-Time Leader in Runs Scored won't be passed by these Two Gentleman but they are making a Run at the 2, 000 Runs Scored. Both Yankees Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez have a Shot at crossing the 2,000 Marl in the 2013 Season but they will need at least 100 plus to get to it. This Season Jeter is at 92 Runs Scored and A-Rod has been hampered by Injuries and he is at 65 Runs Scored for 2012. A-Rod did tie the Late Great Lou Gehrig Tonight How Close are the Two Bronx Bombers?
