The Rays now close within 2 Games of the #2 Al Wild Card Seed Oakland Athletics as they lose tonight in Texas vs the AL West leading Rangers. The Rays have won 8 in a row and they have 3 more on the South Side of the Go' vs the Pale Hose.
The White Sox have picked a Bad Time to be in a Slump as they lose their 2nd Game in a row and now fall 2 Full Games back of the Detroit Tigers for the AL Central Crown. The Tigers won earlier Today vs the KC Royals and needed a Walk-Off Ground Ball to do so. The South Siders now have 6 Games to Play and down by 2 Games so they need help from the Twins as the Tigers have a 3 Game Set in the Twin Cities.
If the White Sox lose the AL Central they are already out of the AL Wild Card. The Rays only have the AL Wild Card to catch unless the O's and Yankees both go on a 4 Game Skid.
Speaking of O's and Yankees in the AL East the O's were Idle Today but beat the Blue Jays 12-2 Yesterday . The Yankees get the Blue Jays Today and throw up an Egg as they lose 6-0 North of the Border. They both, the O's and Yankees have 6 Games to Play for the AL East Title and the Combinations get crazier and crazier by the day. The O's also have Insurance as they lead the A's in the AL Wild Card by 1 Game as the O's are the #1 Seed and the Rays by 3 Games in the AL Wild Card.
Both the Yankees or O's lose the AL East they should be in the 1-Game Playoff as an AL Wild Card Team which for the Yanks would be devastating at this juncture. "To play a Full 162 and no where to hide" is the Name of the AL Pennant Game.
