This AFC West Clash was summed up by one word...Turnovers. The Chiefs in their 1st 5 out of 6 Possessions turned the Pigskin over 5 times with 3 Fumbles and 2 Picks included in that a Pick 6 right before the Half.
The Bolts and QB Philip Rivers didn't put up Huge Stats but didn't have to as they had a Short Field for the majority of the Day and the Bolts Defense wins this one for Bolts Lead Man Norv Turner. Rivers led a pretty Balanced Attack with 200 Yards Passing and just over 100 Yards Rushing. Philips threw for 209 Yards on 18 for 23 with a Score and a Pick. Bolts RB Ryan Mathews getting his Legs under him had a solid 61 yards on 14 Totes. Longtime Chief RB and now Bolts Situational Back Jackie Battle had a tough and hard 39 yards on 15 Carries and a Score. The Passing Attack was led by who else Gates with 59 Yards on 3 Grabs.
The Chiefs were never in it down 27-6 at the Break and QB Matt Cassell among others stunk Arrowhead up with a 3 Pick on the Day Performance. He wasn't alone with Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles putting the Pigskin on the Ground twice although he had 92 yards Rushing, Chiefs WR D-Bowe is going for $100 Million as he gets another 100 Yard Game and it is all about Self right now with a New Contract in the Balance for D-Bowe.
The Bolts now move to 3-1 and 2-0 in the AFC West. The Chiefs have work to do as they are ran by more Ex-Patriots Top to Bottom which means absolutely nothing look at their Record. GM Pioli and Lead Man Crennel's Seats are getting Hotter by the Week.
I still don't know what the Bolts Identity is and the Chiefs Identity is simple...the I-70 Missouri Sunday Project.
