Looking at the Standings this was suppose to be the Year Kevin Kolb of the Cards gets it right or he would most likely be the Most Expensive Clipboard Holder in the NFC West with 12 Zone's QB Matt Flynn being the Second. Kolb didn't start Week1 but he is 2-0.

The Cards have been doing it on Defense and that Play on Tom Brady this past Sunday in Foxboro was Steelersesque. Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton, who came over from the Steelers where he was the Defensive Backs Coach, has instilled in that Cards D the Steelers Principal of Physicality. Lead Man Whisenhunt would have the Red Zone Tackle Football Team wearing Black and Yellow if he could.

The Cards Personnel on D has Major Sunday Players in D-Line Stars Dockett and Calais Campbell. They also have Top Pick in 2011 Patrick Peterson and Perennial Pro-Bowler at Safety in Adrian Wilson. The Defensive Backs Coach is former Steeler and Hines Ward Camp LaTrobe Dawg Deshea Townsend. Shea was the 2nd Longest Tenured Steeler until he retired a Year before Hines did. Both were excellent Play makers in the SEC as Shea did his work at 'Bama and Hines Between the Hedges at UGA. The Only concern for Red Zone as we go to press is getting WR Fitz his Sunday Dose of Pigskins.

The San Diego Chargers are 2-0 and they have played sound Football and it is their Defense that has been the Ticket in the Bolts Resurgence in the AFC West. Led by Vets like OLB Shaun Phillips and ILB Takeo Spikes. Corners Quentin Jammer, Antione Cason, and Safety Eric Weddle the Bolts have Players with Vet Savvy. We need to look closely at the Two Worst AFC Opponents they have beaten in the OPRYland Boyz and the Silver & Black. Not taking anything away from the Bolts but the Pundits are still waiting on the Real Chargers to show up sooner rather than later.

The Good Thing moving forward for the Bolts as the Defense won't be Lights out as its been but they have a somewhat Explosive Offense behind QB Rivers and all those Weapons on that side of the Pigskin. The Run Game will also get an Upgrade when RB Ryan Mathews come back from the Broken Clavicle sustained in Pre Season. Lead Man Norv Turner has to be giddy about the Prospects of the Bolts Defense getting back to what it does and the Offense still with room for improvement.

The Bolts are #2 in Defense in Points allowed in the AFC. The Cards are #2 in the NFC in that same category. The Big Difference between the Two is the Bolts are averaging 30 on Offense and the Cards only 20. Both have Veteran Groups on Defense mixed in with a Few Young Bucks and that has both translated into 2-0 Starts out the Gate on Sunday.
