It came down to like most Steelers who wear the Black and Yellow for the entire career they stay put and when "Father Time" takes over instead of playing behind another uniform they call it a career. Former Steelers 4th round 2003 pick (#125 overall) Ike Taylor joins Troy Polamalu and Brett Keisel as he retires after twelve seasons holding down the strong side Island for Dick LeBeau's "D"!

Ike always announcing when the Steelers were on Prime Time by not his College (Louisiana-Lafayette) but "Ike swaggin' U" was also known as Lil' Rooney by all the Steelers. He will be missed but like #43 his play tailed off severely and retiring had to be tough but from a productive football stand point it was a no-brainer. He will be remembered as the long-time Steelers zone/bump and run cover corner who grabbed Chips #5 and #6 on those 2K's Steelers dominant defenses.
