The New York Mets take care of business on Sunday as they avoid the sweep at the Arms and Leather of the Atlanta Braves on Sunday by winning 4-3. The Amazins' newest addition Michael Cuddyer led New York going 1 for 4 with a 1st inning two-run bomb.

The Braves came right back in the bottom half of the 2nd with a three-bagger from Andrelton Simmons scoring two tying the game at 2-2. Mets starter Bartolo Colon helped his own cause with a RBI single in the 4th as the Mets went up 3-2.

Both starters pitched well enough to win as Colon gets the win moving to 2-0 as he went seven strong allowing three runs on six hits as he struck out one with no free passes. Colon left after seven as Jonny Gomes took him yard for a solo shot tying the game up at 3-3. The Mets answered in the 8th on a Daniel Murphy sac-fly as the Mets would close the door in the 8th and 9th on the Chop Shop 404 as Mets Captain Save-A-Game Jeruys Familia gets his 1st save of 2015.

Mets 3-3 as the Braves suffer loss #1 of 2015 falling to 5-1...
