The San Diego Chargers have shown the NFL World they can be your Homecoming Games or they can go into Stadium like Arrowhead and Sports Authority and give it tom the Home Team right in the "Kisser". Well tonight they played Spoiler to the Broncos keeping AFC Home Field Advantage and also kept their AFC Wild Hope alive with a stunning 27-20 win vs United in Orange

The Broncos have Kryptonite and the Chargers opened a box of it for all AFC Contenders to see. It's called your best Defense is sometimes your Offense and that is what the Bolts did to the Orange Crush. Taking a closer look at the Bolts Key Numbers in their 27-20 shocker on the Broncos:

Time of Possession

Bolts 38:49 Broncos 21:11

Ground Game

Bolts 177 yards Broncos 18 yards

3rd Down Conversions

Bolts 6/12 50% Broncos 2/9 22%

Takeaways

Bolts 1 Broncos 0

Total 1st Downs

Bolts 24 (11 Rushing) (10 Passing) (Penalty 1)

Broncos 19 (16 Passing) (1 Rushing)

The Biggest one was Time of Possession as the Bolts controlling the Clock messed up any rhythm the Broncos had or any Momentum they were trying to gain in the game.

The Ground Game goes hand in hand with Time of Possession as Bolts RB Ryan Mathews had 127 yards on 29 carries.

The Bolts were huge on 3rd down and that kept them on the field as they had some Eleven 1st downs by running which keeps the clock moving.

That one Takeaway was huge as the Game was 24-17 and the Bolts had given the Pig back to Denver right after Denver scored to make it 24-17. That Momentum was right there for the Broncos to take and that Takeaway took the air out of the Pig and Broncos Nation.

Now what this sets up is the Bolts are lurking and a huge factor in the AFC Wild Card forcing both the Ravens and Dolphins to put up W's in NFL Week 15.

The Broncos loss sets up the Patriots if they win they will take the AFC's #1 Seed and the "Fight for Lamar" will be forced to go through Foxboro...Wow! CHiefs are toed but two losses to Broncos they need to be one better than the Broncos in the end to capture the AFC West Title.

Note: Numbers from NFL.com

Bolts Rookie WR Keenan Allen grabbed two more Pigs with Sauce as he has to be right up there for AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year.!
