A 41-36 lead at the break with Kentucky Star PF Julius Randle leading the way with 17 points as he left in the 2nd half and was a non-factor the rest of the way. The Cards had it tied at 58-58 as Cards Star Guard Russ Smith led the way for the Cards with 19 points as the 'Cats pull away 73-66.

The Harrison Twins then took it from their as Andrew dropped 18 points and Aaron 10 points on their way to a combined 28 along with eight boards and three assists. Neither Team shot it from deep well as that was UK's chief concern coming in. The Cards just 6 of 25 from deep while the Cats shot just 3 of 14. U of L's Chris Jones backed up Smith with 18 points as both Teams shot horribly from the Free Throw Line. The Cards shot 14 of 22 while the 'Cats 16 of 30 and if that is not corrected neither will go deep in March Madness.

James Young the talented freshman from Rochester Hills, Michigan and the 'Cats best perimeter player led the 'Cats with 18 points, ten rebounds, and four helpers. Randle 17 all in the 1st half but was not a factor on the glass. 'Cats Soph Holdovers Willie Cauley-Stein (10 rebs) and Alex Proythress (7 pts) important contributions can not be understated as the 'Cats need them both every night out.

The Cards came in #6 as they fall to 11-2 while then 'Cats move to 10-3 as they came in #18...both will be huge factors in Winning Time...
