The time is now for State Bird of Louisiana Hoops Coach Monty Williams and GM Dell Demps as they are on the fast-track of getting the Pelicans back to relevancy and making things happen in the west.

The 24-6 Rip City Blazers were in town tonight bringing with them two possible All-Star in PF LaMarcus Aldridge and PG Damian Lillard. The Pelicans were bringing some of the Logo's top Talent under 25 years of age in abundance and look whop prevailed in the end.

Lillard with 10 seconds to go in the game ties the game at 108 with a Deep Money Ball from "Death Valley" Baton Rouge Home of the LSU Tigers Football Squad. Then the Pelicans draw up a play for one of the toughest guards one on one in the Logo in Tyreke Evans  as he sinks a mid-range J to make it 110-108 with just a second left. The Blazers then go to their Big L-Train as he misses a mid-range J to tie the game up as REKEhavoc's J stands as the game-winner.

The Pelicans get Monster Nights from REKEhavoc (20 pts 5 rebs), PG Jrue Holiday (31 pts 13 asst 7 asst), and Anthony Davis (27 pts 12 rebs 5 blks) as that is the Core of the Pelicans Nest I was referring to earlier. Holiday took it right to Lillard as he has to be tired of hearing about the New kid in the West as Jrue was a 2012-13 All-Star in East.

Lillard didn't disappoint as he led Rip City with 29 points as L-Train added 28 and eight boards with Wes Matthews dropping 18. Give the Blazers credit they stayed close enough in the 4th frame to get a "W" as they know the OKC Thunder are waiting well-rested back in Thunder Alley for Tuesday's Tilt. Blazers fall to 24-7 and the Pelicans making a move in the West as Ant Davis is the key at 14-15.
