Remember the days back when the Phoenix Suns had an MVP-Caliber Point God in Steve Nash aka NASH-ty running the show. The Suns had some of Nike Basketball's Top Young Guns in Shawn Marion playing the "Matrix 31" and Amare Stoudamire playing "S.T.A.T." dominating the opposition.

Well in the Twin Cities tonight in the Dallas vs Minnesota Tilt Shawn Marion went circa 2003-04 Phoenix Suns on the Timberwolves. The Mavs hold on to a 100-98 victory after T'Wolves All-Star PF Kevin Love misses a potential game-tying J but not after the Matrix strikes. Marion goes for 32 points on a sizzling 14-19 from the field with 4 of the 14 FGs Money Balls with that awkward-looking release. The Mavs ironically blew a 62-43 lead at intermission as the 'Wolves come out after refreshments and go on a 38-19 tear in the 3rd frame.

The "Lake Oswego Monster" was responsible for that in 'Wolves Star Kevin Love who had his usual meal of eating the opposing Power Forwards and Centers who are dumb enough to take him on anywhere between the lines. Love had a game-high 36 points, eleven boards, and four helpers. His partner in crime 'Wolves Big from Montenegro Nikola Pekovic added 18 and ten boards. K-Mart of Jordan Brand chipped in with 19 and "Brew Crew" Brewer goes for 16 points. "La Pistola" 'Wolves Point Guard Ricky Rubio had four points but 13 assists and nine rebounds like only the Spanish Pistol does.

Mavs Bench outscore the 'Wolves Bench some 26-5 and that was a huge difference in the game. Mavs PF/C Brandan Wright led the Mavs Bench with 14 points as the Mavs move to 18-13 in the action-packed top-heavy Western Conference. 'Wolves again fall under .500 at 15-16.
