The Chicago Blackhawks lose a tough one to the Vancouver Canucks as it looked early like the Hawks were going to run away with the contest. Hawks Kris Versteeg scored the only goal in Period 1 to put the hawks up 1-0. Then early on the 2nd period the Hawks get a Gaol #21 from Patrick Kane and they moved up 2-0. A few minutes after that the Canucks strike as Zack Kassian scores for Vancouver to make it 2-1.

The Hawks and Canucks then battle midway through the last frame when one of the Sedin Twins Daniel scores to tie the game up at 2-2. The game then goes into a Shootout as it take 8 rounds for the Canucks to finally out #2 past Hawks Net Minder Antti Raanta. The Hawks simply couldn't put the Canucks away on 26 shots at Eddie Lack as Vancouver totaled 24 shots on Raanta.

The Hawks leave with a point as the Canucks get two points and stay right in the middle of the pack in the rugged Pacific. Hawks move to a Ice Games leading 56 points with the Ducks at 55 and the Pens at 53...
