The Blackhawks helped out Net Minder Antii Raanta as they hold the New Jersey Devils to 12 shots as they get an easy win 5-2 and that's just what the Ice Games Gods ordered as the Hawks spend Christmas in Chi City.

The Hawks get the only goal in Period 1 from Patrick Sharp to make it 1-0. The Devils early in the 2nd period strike as they make it 1-1 behind a deflected shot by Stephen Gionta. Citizen Kane 88 strikes with his 22nd of the 2013-14 Season as Bicks follow him up with a goal in the 2nd to make it 3-1 Hawks. In the 3rd frame the Devils score not even a minute into the Period to make it 3-2 as the Hawks get the final two goals behind Sharpie's 2nd of the night and Nick Leddy's Slapper as the Hawks go onto win 5-2.

Raanta stopped 10 of 12 shots on goal as the Hawks put 37 shots on Devil Net Minder Cory Schneider. The Hawks need that to get back on the winning track and get to 58 points and that is good for #2 in the NHL behind the red-hot Mighty Ducks. The Devils take the loss as they sit in the middle of the pack in the East.

Up next for the Hawks Friday December 27th at the Madhouse vs the improved Avs...and Merry Christmas Hawks Nation as we go for #3 in Five Seasons!
