The Chicago Blackhawks protected their young Net Minder Antti Raanta by getting on the offensive vs the Dallas Stars in the AA 214 turned "Madhouse on Madison" Southwest. The Hawks went up 5-0 before the Stars twinkled the Twine as Hawks Kostka, Kane, Sharp (2), and Saad all lit the Siren with Saad adding one more in the 2nd frame to make it 6-1 Hawks. The Stars added one more for good measure as it just comes down to the Hawks have bigger Stars to get its just Dallas was on the schedule.
Raanta was 27 of 29 on saves as he played extremely well. The Hawks are built on Speed what the lack for in Size and most Teams can't deal with the constant pressure of the Hawks who have to be the fastest team in Ice Games changing end to end. The Hawks now get Win #22 and move to 49 points which leads the NHL. The Stars stay at 33 points and some work to do as they toil around the 8th seed.
Hawks have to regroup quickly as they get the New "Broad Street Bullies" of Philly on Hump Day December 11th at the Madhouse on Madison.
Hawks Net Minder Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford reportedly will be out at least Three Weeks with a Groin Issue and for Hawks Nation that thing could have been worse as it looked worse than that when he injured it last week.
