The Premier Series this weekend will be the 2nd place in the NL West and Defending World Champion Gigantes of #OrangeOctober going up against the NL East leading Atlanta Braves as Pitching is in the forefront in this one. The Giants are in a good spot in the West considering the winner of the NL West needs to get to high 80s of low 90s. The Braves on the other hand are in the driver's seat with the Nats' and 'Phils both struggling to stay above the .500 mark. The Braves need to play north of .575 ball the rest of the way and that should get them into Winning Time.

GIGANTES @ BRAVES Three Game Set....

June 14, 2013 7:30pm ET
SF Bumgarner (5-4) vs ATL Medlen (3-6)

June 15, 2013 4:05pm ET
SF Gaudin (2-1) vs ATL Minor (8-2)

June 16, 2013 8:05pm ET
SF Lincecum (4-6) vs ATL Teheran (4-3)

The Series starts out with Bum facing Medlen and that should be a good one as Medlen has found his stride in his lat two starts. Minor has been the Braves best in 2013 since day one and the Giant Hitters will have their work cut out on Saturday as the Braves will have the edge. ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball will feature 2008-2009 NL Cy Young Winner Tim Lincecum (who lost his last outing vs the Buccos last Tuesday) against Teheran who has been solid for the Braves.

Note: Giants Hot Corner "Panda Smash" Sandoval just hit the 15-day D.L. and the Giants lose some pop in that line up and some needed protection for Gigantes Back Stop Buster Posey.
