The Game began as both Teams were trying to one another on the Boards face first or anyway they could. Physical yes...Scoring through the first two frames...no. The Blackhawks finally get it going in the 3rd frame after a sluggish 1st period highlighted by "Shaw where is your Thinking Cap" and the 2nd period with "Everything but the Frozen One going Net".

Meanwhile the Wings were playing their style as they tried to control the puck and catch you slippin' here or there to put one past Crawford and that kinda worked for the first two frames. Then the Hawks get it going as Oduya (wrister for a score) and Kruger (backhand goal) go nearly 4 minutes apart to put the Hawks up 3-1 and Sharpie ends it with a Empty Netter for a Hawks 4-1 game one win. Both Sharpie #10 and Hossa picked up points as they continue to lead the Hawks in both Goals and Assists in Winning Time. Imagine when "Toewser" and "Citizen Kane 88" get it going there should be a Cup coming to any Water Hole in Chi City come late June 2013 after another Parade through downtown.
And no the Bluedude has no Parade Route Details the Wings or Kings could use as chalkboard material.

The Wings played their game its just that the Hawks third and fourth line on most nights is better than the opposition and that's a huge advantage for the Hawks moving forward. Wings Center Damien Brunner gets the only Wings Goal rights after the Hawks 1st goal in Period one. The Series will be a grind it out Series as the Wings have to play their style for 60 minutes as the Hawks are good enough to adjust to any style.
