It has to be the Staff from the GIGANTES right off the Top of the Bluedude's Thinking Cap that has the Top Staff in Wins with 4 Starters combined. Bumgarner, Vogelsong, Lincecum, Cain, and even Mr. Zito the 5th Starter have to have over 50 Wins one would think.

It could be the Nats with the Potomac 2-Pack in S2 & G2..Strasburg and Gonzo leading the Nats Staff to most Victories as well. The Red Legs may have a Shot also with their Ace Cueto Large and in Charge on the Ohio.

The Top 6 Starting Staffs by WINS in the NL by Labor Day 2012

Note: The 3rd or 4th Pitcher may be a Middle reliever eating up Innings and piling up W's as well.

1. REDBIRDS 53 Wins...Lohse (14), Lynn (13), Wainright (13), Westbrook (13)

2. NATS 50 Wins...G2 (17), S2 (15), Detwiler (9), Zimmerman (9)

3. GIGANTES 49 Wins...Bumgarner (14), Cain (13), Vogelsong (12), Zito (10)

4. RED LEGS 49 Wins..Cueto (17), Arroyo (11), Latos (11), Bailey (10)

5. BUCCOS 45 Wins...Burnett (15), McDonald (12), Corriea (9), Rodriguez (9)

6. BOYS in BLUE 42 Wins...Kershaw (12), Capuano (11), Billingsley (10), Blanton (9)

There is a Reason Analysts think the Redbirds have a Good Chance of making a Run after getting a NL Wild Card Berth because of there Consistent Starting Pitching....14-13-13-13.

The Nats are on the Rise because of their Forceful Potomac 2-PACK in Strasburg and Gonzalez with 32 Wins between them.

Johnny Cueto of the Red Legs and R.A. Dickey of the Amazins' lead the NL in W's with 17 apiece. And the Red Legs have the Same Guy pitching in the 2-4 in the Rotation an have been very Consistent as well.

Nats, Red Legs, and Gigantes lead in their Respective Divisions and the Redbirds lead the Wild Card with the Dodgers and Buccos in a Mad Dash behind them. Who says Pitching and Defense don't get you to the Fall Classic?
