No one could have saw this coming in a Million Years but it is here. The Changing of the Guard as the Colts will have their 2nd Straight Season without QB and 4-Time AP NFL MVP Peyton Manning. But this Time it is completely different as #18 has left the State for Good until the Colts put up that #18 Jersey in the Big Pit Stop...Lucas Oil Stadium.

This Season is also different because the QB isn't from Dick's Sporting Goods, Mitchell and Ness, Fan's Edge, or Fanzz....he is from the 2012 NFL Draft and this Dude has IT...like Pacers "GOLD SWAGGER"...Mr. Andrew Luck the New Jersey #12. He is the Truth and we will see front and Center in Week 1 vs the Monsters of the Midway..Da Bears!

The Colts still have Stars on Defense as they get a little Older but those Book Ends in Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis the Crew known as from Bluedude Sportstalk "Monsters Inside QBs" forget "Monsters Inside Me". They also have a Big-Time Back End in All-Pro Safety Antoine Bethea. After that they went the Free Agent Route all over the Defense for a Stop Gap.

Remember WR Reggie Wayne is still there and Luck's New Target along with Two Dynamic Tight Ends including Luck's Teammate TE Coby Fleener (and Roommate on the Road in Indy like Manning and TE Dallas Clark) and Dwayne Allen. The Colts look like out the Gate they will go Two Tight End Sets alot as former Steelers Coordinator Bruce Arians is the New O-Coordinator in Indy. Hey Colts Fans I know your Playbook give the Bluedude a Shout on Twitter @Bluedudesports and also at #PurpleBrowns the Ravens know your Playbook as well. The Bengals and Browns can't pick up any ones Playbook.

Key Players and Free Agent Acquisitions for 2012:

QB A. Luck (2012 #1 Overall Pick in Draft)
RB Mewelde Moore (FA Pick Up from Steelers)
WR Reggie Wayne
TE Coby Fleener (2012 2nd Round Pick)
TE Dwayne Allen (2012 3rd Round Pick)
LT Anthony Castonzo (2011 1st Round Pick)

OLB R. Mathis
OLB D Freeney
ILB P. Angerer
DT C. Redding (FA Pick Up Ravens)
SS T. Zbikowski (FA Pick Up Ravens)
FS A. Bethea
CB J. Powers
PK A. Vinatieri

They still have some Firepower on Offense and they need Big Production from RB Donald Brown and Former Steelers 3rd Down Back Mewelde Moore.  Luck will lean Heavily on his Rook Tight Ends but more on Reggie Wayne.

The Defense has Mathis and Freeney as they move to the 3-4 which puts both of them Hands Down or Standing which is a Frightening thought for Sunday QBs. Pat Angerer of Kinnick Stadium Fame is All That and Underrated along with Powers Island at the Strong side Corner. New SS Tom Zbikowski should fit in nicely as he is a ND Kid that brings it from his Golden Glove Boxing days as a Youth. Bethea is one of the Better Safeties on Sunday you will find.

Key Schedule Dates in 2012:

Sep. 9 @ Soldiers Field Chi City
Sep. 23 Jags
Oct. 7 Lambeau Leap Boyz
Oct. 14 Gang Green NY
Oct. 28 @ Music City

Nov. 8 @ J'Ville
Nov. 18 @ Foxboro
Dec. 16 @ Reliant Energy
Dec. 30 Texans

The Overall Schedule isn't no tougher than Purdue and Notre Dames 201 Schedule. The Colts have the Right Pieces albeit Young Pieces they have a Chance to surprise everyone in the AFC South and the AFC. The Bears, Pats, Packers, and Texans Twice seem to be the Only Games they may struggle or Picked to not Win anything else on the 2012 Schedule can be a W if that D is much Improved and Luck is the Pot Luck Dinner of the 2012 Sunday Draft.

360 Degrees...If Johnny U was #19 and Peyton #18...shouldn't Luck's Jersey Number be 18.5 or 19-18 is 1 or even 19-18...then 17. With #12 I am thinking he was a Jim Kelly Fan but #1 would have made Sense since his POPS played behind HOF Warren Moon for the then Houston Oilers who wore #1. Dad did wear #12 at his Alma Mater in Morgantown, WV for the Mountaineers where he did Major Work on the Gridiron.
