The Houston Rockets more importantly knowing there is a NBA M.V.P. Trophy to grab for All-Star Shooting Guard James Harden gets the "W" 115-112. Russell Westbrook's onslaught on the Triple-Double is always worth mentioning as they lose and they are in a serious fight for the #8 slot with "State Bird of Louisiana"!

Clutch City was up 55-47 at the break and was up double digits throughout the 3rd frame as OKC closed the 3rd after being down 71-59 at the five minute mark on a 18-12 run cutting that deficit to six.

It was James Harden's getting 24 of his game-high 41 points in the 2nd half as the Rockets hold off the Regulators and a Westbrook's 40 points, thirteen assists and eleven boards on 12 for 29 shooting with Houston winning 115-112.

Dwight of Three Stripes" added 22 points and eight boards for Clutch City with Josh Smith adding 14 and Trevor Ariza a dozen. Houston gets beat on the glass and at the arc but committed just ten turnovers.

Enes Kanter had 21 points and seventeen boards for OKC with sharp-shooter Anthony Morrow adding 22 points including 6 for 8 from deep and they will need both if they can get into the "Fight for Larry"! The Thunder's 18 turnovers and 32 fouls committed put them in harm's way as the Rockets were 31 of 50 from the stripe.

Rockets are a game ahead of Memphis for #2 in the west with the Regulators Report O.K.C. just a 1/2 game up on the Pelicans for #8 as we have a photo finish in the west for seeds 2 through 8.
