It looks like looking at the final score like Philadelphia Phillies Ace Cole Hamels was knocked around and didn't stay long. He did get knocked up here and there but the Phils also didn't provide nothing from their Lumber Company at the dish.

After all the pre-game festivities and jitters the Boston Red Sox behind Ace Clay Buchholz sliced an diced the Phils for a 8-0 shutout. Clay goes seven shutout frames allowing just three hits and striking out nine but that wasn't the whole story.

Carmines 2B Dustin Pedroia and newly-acquired OF Hanley Ramirez both go Yard x 2 as they both hit one each off Hamels as did Rookie Mookie Betts as they Carmines hit five bombs in total on the day. Hanley accounted for 5 Ribbies and Red Sox Nation if he stays healthy and stays locked in...enjoy!

The Phillies scatter three hits as Hamels was chased after the 5th allowing those four HR's on five hits.   For good measure Hanley takes Phils' middle man Jake Diekman for a "Granny" in the 9th and that led to that crooked 8 on the board.

I know its early but will Cole Hamels want out of Philly and to a contender before we hit June?
