The Chicago Blackhawks get to the #1 Net Minder in the NHL for 2013-14 in Minnesota Wild's Josh Harding but still lose. The Hawks score three goals on Harding but the Hawks Net Minder Corey Crawford (the NHL's Leader in Wins) gave up four goals and the game-winner late as the Hawks lose 4-3 and find themselves on a two-game skid.
The Hawks were down 2-0 late in the 2nd frame when Hawks LW Jeremy Morin hits the net past Harding with just 17 seconds left in the 2nd. That goal ignited Team Indian Head to come out swinging in the 3rd frame scoring Brandon Saad scores not even a minute into the last frame. Marian Hossa scores six minutes later and the Hawks look like they were going to win going away up now 3-2 after scoring three straight on Harding. The Wild Jonas Bordin knotted everything up at 3-3 with just five minutes to go. The winner came Marco Scandella with just under two minutes left a wrister past "Craw-Dad" and that rolled the credits on the Hawks.
The Hawks fall to 20-6-4 and Net Minder "Craw-Dad" Crawford falls to 17-6-3. The Wild moves to 17-8-5 and Josh Harding goes to 15-4-3. There was not a lot of scoring chances in this one as both Teams scored on the Power Play as the Wild did it twice.
Now the Hawks head back to the Madhouse and face a tough Mighty Ducks Outfit Friday Night December 6th and the Florida Panthers on Sunday December 8th for two chances to stop the skid.
