The Chicago Blackhawks started slow as they were down 2-0 after the fist frame as Hawks Net minder started slowly after sitting the last couple of Games letting Rook Net Minder Antti Raanta get his Skates wet. The visiting Dallas Stars get two goals past Craw-Dad in the first frame and another one early in the 2nd frame to go up 3-0 only to see the Hawks put three behind Stars Goalie Kari Lehtonen.
As we moves to frame three the Stars get a Penalty Shot from Antoine Roussell a backhand that beat Craw-Dad and with 17 minutes to go in the 3rd that Goal stands and the Stars roll the Credits on the Hawks 4-3. Hawks Net Minder Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford didn't get that much activity but stopped four of 18 on net. That was an off night for the Ice Games 2013-14 leading Goal Tender in Wins with 17. The Hawks get goals from Sharpie #10, Nick Leddy, and Johnny Oduya.
The Hawks "D" was on point and it was one of those nights where the Opposition Goal Tender goes "Vezina Trophy" and that is for Ice Games Net Minder of the Year. Stars Goalie Kari Lehtonen was on his game stopping a whopping 47 of 50 and heck he doesn't see that many frozen ones on net in skate around.
The Hawks move to 20-5-4 and get no points but still have Ice Game best record of the 2013-14 season. Next up for Hawks Nation is December 5th at Wild...
