The New Orleans Saints found out about the time the game settled down how difficult it is to play the Hawks in the 206 with the Decibel Level well past a Big Bird taking off from Seattle International. Before the Saints knew what hit them it was 17-0 Hawks with Century Link Stadium going Cuckoo for 12's.
The Saints made it a game when Saints TE Jimmy Graham scored to make it 17-7 but that would cap the scoring for the Saints on this night. The Hawks went onto to score ten more points to make it 27-7 at the break and that was he ball game.
Hawks QB Russell Wilson was flawless and the whole World got a chance to see what a special Sunday Signal-Caller he really is. Wilson threw for 310 yards on 22 of 30 and three scores. He also scampered out of the pocket eight times for 47 yards to lead the Hawks in rushing. Brees was under duress all night long and that was a credit to that Hawks Front and Bookends Cliff Avril and Chris Clemons as they were bringing it. Saints QB #9 was 23 for 38 for only 147 yards and a score and an INT. The Saints just managed 232 years of Total Offense and that was a Tale Tell Sign in this one. Who Dat just just couldn't move the Pig and that Hawks "D" will be hard to beat moving forward at home.
Moving forward the Seahawks now travel to the "Stick" this Sunday one last time for they close that venue to face NFC West Rival Forty-Niners. The Saints must regroup as they have a new fight on their hands with the 9-3 Panthers as they will meet in two of the next three games. Both games NFC South Divisional Games plus NFC #2 Seed Implications.
