A 1-1 affair after one frame turned into a lopsided affair as the City of Toronto makes it a clean sweep over Chi-City tonight on the Hardwood and the Ice. The Leafs get 4 goals to the Hawks one in the 2nd period as Hawks Rook Net Minder Antti Raanta was lifted after the 2nd period onslaught.

Leafs Center Peter Holland and Winger Joeffrey Lupul each scored two goals to pace the 7-3 drubbing of the Blackhawks as they add to the pot in the 3rd with two as the Hawks add one more with Brandon Saad hitting the Nylon. Hawks Winger Patrick Kane scored twice as he has been on a tear in the 2013-14 season.

The Blackhawks Raanta saved 20-25 and that Period was bound to happen as he was playing light s out prior to this meeting with the Leafs as he was 5-0-1 coming in now dropping to 5-1-1. Leafs Net Minder Jonathan Bernier was outstanding stopping 25 of 28 Hawks Shots on Net to move his record to 10-10-2.  The Hawks now have no time to rest for the weary as they get a hot LA Kings Outfit without Star Net Minder Jonathan Quick on Sunday Night back at the Madhouse.

The Hawks fall to 23-7-5 and an NHL Leading 51 points as the Leafs move to 17-14-3 with 37 points....
