The L.A. Lakers have to find a formula as they can't keep going Win-Loss-Win-Loss as they currently reside in the West not the East. They beat a "Grit & Grind" Memphis Team 96-92 without their Memphis Dry-Rub in Point Guard Mike Conley Jr and that was advantage Lake Show.

Both Kobe and the "Spaniard" Pau Gasol led with 21 points as Gasol also grabbed nine Oranges. The Lakers shot nearly 50% and coming out of the Motel that was just what Laker Nation ordered for this one. L.A. Native and Super-Sub Nick "Nick at Nite 2.0" Young (first Nick at Nite was Nick "the Quick" Van Exel of Trinity Valley CC, TX by way of Huggy Ball Cincy Bearcats) added 18 as he comes in the game like a Ready-Made Meal out in the field. He and Lakers Shooter Jodie Meeks (13 pts) combined to go 6 for 14 from Memphis Suburb White Station, TN to help the Lakers put that much-needed Check Mark in the Win Column.

The Grizzlies ran the point by committee as it was the "Grit & Grind" Grind Father Tony Allen leading the way with 16 points and seven helpers. @MacBO50 Zach Randolph the pride of Marion, Indiana led the Grizz with 18 points, sixteen boards, and five helpers as he was all business like usual in the paint. The Grizz after a Home-Cooked Meal shot poorly from the Field and the Arc and that was the nuts and bolts of their game tonight.

Lakers move to 12-13 and the Grizz 10-14 as that .500 mark appears to be miles away...
